In general, its effects depends on the brain and body, how much you drink, how often you drink, your gender, age, and overall health condition.
· Teens drinkers
· Student drinkers
· Women
· Senior citizen
Teenage Drinkers: The young people might not drink daily but for the few times that they do, they actually drink more than the adults. This act has a lot of risk including death, brain problem developments, serious injuries, and impaired judgment.
Student Drinkers: In colleges most students get the freedom which they don't have at home and see it as a chance to try things they couldn't do at home. This also has a lot of risks such as death, assault, sexual abuse, injury, educational problems, unwanted pregnancy, and suicide attempts.
Female Drinkers: Female bodies react differently to alcohol than that of the male. Women face higher risks than the men because of the following reasons:
- Women have lower immunity to alcohol problems than men, so they start to develop alcohol related problems at lower drinking levels than men
- Women have less water in their body and alcohol dissolves in the body water
With all these stated the women face risk such as liver damage, heart disease, pregnancy problems, and breast cancer.
Senior Citizen Drinkers: They are also more vulnerable to health problems such as diabetes, congestive heart failure, osteoporosis, mood disorder, memory problems, liver problems, and high blood pressure.
